Artifact Handling

IWEISS engineers were challenged to hang the 44′ long skeleton of one of the last Right Whales at the Museum of the Earth in Ithaca, NY.

It had to be rigged from the structural steel of the building before the 4th wall of the exhibit space was in place, since moving it through doors would have been impossible.  Using old-fashioned dead hung rigging technology, the whale successfully “lives” on.
