Paragon Hoist

Paragon Hoist

A one of a kind pile-on hoist with redundancy. This multi-line winch uses two gearmotors with brakes and redundant load path drive chains, with chain break detection, for motor synchronization creating one of the smallest hoisting footprints on the market. Backed by high engineering standards the Paragon is the design to offer a safe, overhead lifting solution for any theatrical stage system,
banner drop, or elevated display where raising or lowering is required.

With an overall width of 1’-0”, the Paragon can be installed on tight centers; and when they are on opposing sides, can easily be installed on 8 inch centers.

Paragon can be supplied with 3/16” or 1/4” lift cables, comes standard with a 4-element rotary limit switch and allows for the option of an encoder and variable speed operation.

The motor control cabinet and control
station are provided separately.

T-Drum Winch

T-Drum Winch, is a multi-line drum winch. This winch is design engineered for 2 to 8 lift lines. With a helically grooved drum that includes a pinch roller and travel capable of up to 75ft of travel per line and drum cable size for 8″ or 12″ diameter.

T-Drum’s frame is a steel formed and bolted construction with gearmotor, with primary brake, secondary load brake and drum with continuous shaft. Additional features are a 4-cam rotary limit, absolute encoder and a zero fleet mount base attachment as an option.

Self Climber

The self-climbing lighting hoist is an integrated package lighting solution for motorized lighting positions. This system is comprised of a line-shaft design enclosed within a aluminum truss structure to allow for a variable of widths and a variety of lighting distribution options. Lifting cables terminate to the building structure along with all power and control cable management and follow the truss as the entire system raises and deploys. Self-climbing trusses are an ideal solution for low profile installation with large lifting capacities that provide end use and safe and ease of accessibility.

Clincher Winch

The Clincher Winch is a simple drive cable winch used for the operation and release of a Fire Safety system.

The unit has a helically grooved steel drum for 5/16″ aircraft cable with a travel capacity of 60ft. The Clincher Winch has all moving components and an adjustable hydraulic governor enclosed in side a small formed steel housing.

Via Winch

The ViaWinch is a self-contained motorized winch with an 8:1 safety factor designed for overhead lifting with redundant braking. It is rated for various line pulls utilizing a ¼” drive line on a grooved drum with a travel of 70′ and a range of speeds to suit all your lifting needs. An on-board starter cabinet allows the use of a plug-in pendant for operation, soft start/soft stop and a power requirement of 120v 20 amps at the winch. ViaWinch is specifically constructed to be mounted in various orientations for a variety of uses, including a deck winch, clew-winch, or grid-mounted point hoist. With its compact size and weight it is a portable unit.

LINE-SHAFT/FIRE CURTAIN LINE-SHAFT

The Line-Shaft consists of modular drums with tubular or solid drive shafts connecting to
a single gear motor with a primary brake. The cable drums can be supplied as helically grooved or pile-ons for the specified travel requirements, allowing for a multi-line vertical lift.
As with all IWEISS machinery, the Line-Shafts are designed with an 8:1 safety factor and redundant braking. Other standard safety features are a 4-cam rotary limit switch, E-stop system and hold-to-run operation controls. Each drum has a keeper to maintain cable placement. All Line-Shafts can be specified for a lifting capacity of 100 lbs to 10,000 lbs, multiple lift lines at fixed or variable speeds.
Our Line-Shaft can be configured in numerous mounting orientations for a variety of uses pending the project needs and structure attachment requirements.

In usage of a Fire Curtain System a hydraulic dampener is added to the motor stator to meet standard operating requirements of NFPA80 and ANSI

.

PileHoist

The PileHoist is a yo-yo drum winch that comes in various configurations of lift lines, speeds and loads. Taking into account the installation process, we pre-wire and test our winches to insure proper operation and minimize field time. Regardless of the device being fixed or variable speed, the drive cabinet comes pre-installed.

Our PileHoist gives the user a clean, tight fitting unit to perform multiple tasks. It allows up to a total of 10 lifting cables and loads up to 1,000 pounds for utmost flexibility.
