Automated Curtain System
The IWEISS Automated Curtain System (ACS) is a versatile line-shaft mechanism designed to raise
and lower various fabric curtains in both straight and curved orientations. It utilizes yo-yo style drums
that can be positioned anywhere along a continuous drive shaft, allowing for flexible drum placement
across the system’s width. Powered by a three-phase gear motor equipped with a primary brake, the
entire assembly is enclosed within a light-gauge steel frame featuring a universal hole pattern. This
design facilitates diverse drum locations, rigging suspension attachments, and accommodates various
customization options
Standard ACS units are pre-engineered to handle lifting loads of up to 500 pounds, operating at fixed or variable speeds ranging from 0 to 180 feet per minute. For precise positioning, options include run-to limit switches or absolute encoders. The ACS is suitable for a wide array of curtain types, including brail, Austrian, display, masking, and acoustical curtains, making it a comprehensive solution for diverse stage and venue requirements.
